Emotion and Multi-Panel Grids

Even though it seems like I see it in every comic nowadays, I’ve resisted the urge to write a multi-panel grid in FIGHT OF THE CENTURY. It just never felt like it served an emotional purpose.
Recently, in preparation for the direct market release, I added the following scene to issue 1. Hopefully, it sells the intensity of a pep talk inside an MMA octagon during a fight. I’ll be sure to share the final version.
FIGHT OF THE CENTURY will be available to preorder later this year from Second Sight. Look for it in PREVIEWS in the coming months or just demand your comic shop subscribe you to it now (sometimes that works, actually).
