One of the shorts inside AFROFUTURES is a story by Jason Pierre and Leigh P. Walls called “Lucy & Percival: A Love Story.” This unhinged romance is part Stephen King’s CHRISTINE and part Katsuhiro Otomo’s AKIRA. Of Jamaican background, writer Pierre wanted to deliver horror, high-octane thrills, and a little patois.

When we initially started our Kickstarter campaign, we showcased character sheets by artist Leigh P. Walls. Largely because we knew we were sitting on a goldmine with Leigh’s work.
